The Atlanta Angels Begin 2019 With Back-2-Back Wins

The Atlanta Angels head on the road to begin their WABA campaign. First stop, Columbus Georgia to take on newcomer Tri City Lady Blackhawks. Both teams came out fired up and ready to compete. Atlanta shooters came alive and the defensive intensity proved to be too much for Tri City. Atlanta was victoriuos with a final score of 89 61. Atlanta was led by newly acquired point guard Cherelle George with 22 points & the left handed sharp shooter Deundria Clark added 19 points.

Before an enthusiastic home crowd the Montgomery Lady Magic went into halftime with a 32 30 lead. The Atlanta Angels started the 3rd quarter with a full court press which produced several 3D turnovers. Both teams battled back and forth until Atlanta went on a run and never looked back. Final score 81 55. Atlanta was lead by #3 Nicole Collins with 21 points/10 rebounds and Center Taylor Boyd 15 points 5 rebounds.

These two teams will face off again this Saturday in Atlanta to complete a home and home
