Faith Colter attended Ithaca College in upstate New York where she earned a Bachelor
of Science Degree in Business Administration in 1981. She was a four-year starter for
the Women’s Basketball team and excelled on and off the court. She holds 20 school
records and was inducted into the Ithaca College Hall of Fame in 1988. She was the
first women’s program inductee.

After graduation Faith continued playing in various summer leagues and Pro-Am
tournaments. In 1986 she began her coaching career on the collegiate level when she
was named Head Women’s Basketball Coach at New York Institute of Technology.
Faith continued to coach at NY Tech for 4 years before returning to coach at her high
school alma mater, Roosevelt Jr./Sr. High School. She continued coaching at Roosevelt
for 13 years before relocating to the Atlanta area.
After moving to Georgia in 2005 Faith began coaching AAU basketball. First with the
Georgia Pearls Girls Elite travel team and then with a boy’s team, the Henry County
In 2016 became Vice President of the WABA.
