Aliyyah Handford Helps The Expressions Remain Unbeaten

Newark NJ – Former St Johns standout Aliyyah Handford led her team with  28 points, 11 rebounds, 8 assists, 6 steals, and 2 steals. While Lasia Hemingway chipped in 24 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. As the  Jersey Expressions beat their division rivals, the “DC Cyclones” 106 – 71 to remain one of the two unbeaten teams left in the WABA (Coastal Empire Lady Monarchs) being the other.
The DC Cyclones started their WABA season 5-0 before heading to Jersey to face the WABA defending champs. The lost sets up a highly anticipated rematch when the two teams face off  September 15, at the Cyclones home. K. France and K Proctor each scored 22pts for DC
